Nike Air Max 95 Liverpool Exclusive IX7923-001

The 110 is Liverpool's staple.

No city in the world has a relationship like Liverpool does with the Air Max 95.

So to see our city getting it's own 110. It's thoroughly deserved.

Now this could quite easily have been a pair with another football hint, but I'm so glad to see it isn't.

Our city is far bigger and has far more heritage than the two football clubs inside it.

A working class city, with identity tied into hustle and never taking no for an answer.

Hats off to JD and Nike on this one, and here's some key details I wanted to point out:

- The 'Liverpool' on the tongue. Sick.

- Rustic orange lace loops to symbolise the red brick of our working class city, with the green being the same colour as the Liver Bird. What a touch.

- Map of Liverpool on the insole, and the 0151 embroided on the inside of the tongue.

- Brick on the back tab to show the city's been built from the ground up.

- SCOUSE on the sole. Love it.

- The double swoosh on each shoe, and the fact the bubble is contrasting colours on each side. Can't beat it.

Is our city finally getting it's flowers when it comes to the 110?

And for us at Block P, and other key members in the community to be involved in the rollout just shows the level of detail this project has gone into behind the scenes.
