Air Max 95 Mandarin Big Bubble 2025

Air Max 95 Mandarin Big Bubble 2025

2025 marks a milestone year for sneaker culture, and Nike is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95 in serious style. The latest drop, the Nike Air Max 95 Mandarin (style code HM4740-005), sees the long-awaited return of a cult classic that hasn’t seen shelves since 2011. Following on from the Big Bubble Neon and the women’s Pink Foam releases earlier this year, the Mandarin brings that same iconic silhouette with a few updates that have stirred conversation in the sneaker community.

Just like the Neons, this pair features the waffle sole unit with the higher PSI visibly marked on the outsole—Nike’s nod to the original Air Max cushioning system that made the shoe a legend in the first place. The Pink Foam release, being a women’s exclusive, didn’t get this feature, so the Mandarin feels a lot closer to the true spirit of the OG Big Bubble tech. But the biggest debate has been around the gradient. Unlike the 2011 version, this new release sports a slightly different gradient across the upper, which has split opinions across forums and in-store chats alike.

At Block P, we’re just glad to see the Mandarins back in the rotation. For most of our younger customers, this is their first real opportunity to own a piece of Air Max history they have never had access to before. These aren’t just trainers—they’re a cultural artefact. Especially here in Liverpool, where the Air Max 95 is more than a shoe. It’s a symbol of identity, independence, and being unapologetically yourself. The Mandarin colour way has always stood out in that story—bold, loud, and full of character.

We’ve got limited pairs available both online and in-store. This is one of those drops that won’t sit for long. Whether you’re in it for the nostalgia, the design, or the culture, the 2025 Air Max 95 Mandarin is one of the year’s standout releases. Cop while you can. Buy Now
